Inspirational
thoughts are posted weekly at the school, and one that is
most telling of our philosophy is a quote from John
Wooden, “Discipline yourself and others won’t need
to.”
Along with teaching tennis fundamentals and
match/tournament play to juniors, Alan, Chad, Ryan and Rich
sincerely believe they can help mold these young men and
women into good citizens. Sportsmanship and respect for
adults are key.
Finally, we help our junior students understand that being
a good student academically is “cool,” and thus
academics and athletics can work in harmony towards a
mutual goal. This goal is a commitment to do one’s
best on the court, in school, and in life.
